Guidance & College Office

Port Richmond High School has a tradition and reputation of being a school with a heart. Our counselors, social workers and program coordinators are some of the most caring professionals in New York City.  Our counselors work with students according to their Small Learning Community and this allows our counselors to create a personalized high school experience for each student. Our College Office staff are acclaimed by educators throughout the Department of Education for their ability to connect students with scholarship money and with supporting students in finding the best college for their specific interest and career choice.  We are also proud of the many career opportunities afforded to our students which provide them with career experience as part of our Small Learning Communities.
