OUR PROGRAM
P-TECH Port Richmond is a “Grades 9-14” academic and career program that enables students to begin their college and professional lives more quickly and with more support than the typical school-to-college-to-work pathway. Students who commit to the Grades 9-14 P-TECH program will follow a six-year curriculum where they have the opportunity to begin taking college courses as early as 10th grade. Students will be able to work toward earning an Associate degree in Computer Technology, at no cost, from the College of Staten Island, plus work-based learning experiences so that they l leave the school with the skills and knowledge they need to continue their studies and step seamlessly into competitive jobs in computing and information technology.
P-TECH Port Richmond students reflect the dynamic and diverse neighborhoods of the New York City school districts. Students of all abilities will be accepted, and no tests are required to enroll.
