Vincent Medugno

Mr. Medugno began his career in education in 2012 as a full time teacher at his alma matter, Port Richmond High School. Prior to this he substitute taught for three years, and worked in the radio and television industry. He graduated from Port Richmond in 2004. Mr. Medugno is committed to paying forward his high school experience to the current Raider generation as acting Coordinator of Student Activities. He facilitates the work of the student government, community service projects, school events, clubs, spirit initiatives, and with his TV Media students, documents these events for our schools weekly highlight show titled Good Morning Port Richmond. He oversees all social media and community outreach for the school and is part of the performing arts department directing stellar musical productions, and shows at the school. Whenever you hear PRHS out in the local community, his team is usually part of the buzz around town. He is a firm believer in students not only gaining from the classroom, but from extra curricular involvement at the school because he believes it shapes the individual and helps them grow. His office door is always open to every and any student with an idea, and an interest in becoming part of what he likes to call “The Raider Lifestyle!” Mr. Medugno received a Bachelor of Science in Communication Media Studies from the College of Staten Island in the Spring of 2008, and a Master’s Degree in Special Education for grades 7-12 from Touro College in the winter of 2014.
