I hope that everyone is well as we begin day four of remote learning. I want to remind all students that if you are struggling with your classes or are frustrated by the remote learning experience, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, your guidance counselors and your teachers for assistance.
I also want to remind students that although work may not be due until midnight for some classes, teachers are available to assist you from 8:00 am – 2:20 pm each day. Please reach out to your teachers for help during the school day.
Today’s SAT word of the day is:
Indolent: Wanting to avoid activity or lazy
“It is easy to become an indolent person when we don't have to get up and go somewhere every day, but exercising one's body and mind daily is essential to good health and wellness.”
Lastly, today’s quote comes from American Poet and Philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson who said, “What lies behind us and what lies before us are tiny matters compared to what lies within us.”
Be safe, be healthy, and continue working hard in your classes.
